ToneCooling Australia Pty Ltd is committed to ensuring our website and digital content are accessible to people with disabilities, in line with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

1. Conformance target

Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We strive to meet WCAG 2.1 AA across all customer-facing web pages, including engineering reference content, product pages, and the RFQ contact form.

2. Accessibility features implemented

• Skip-to-main-content link on every page (visible on keyboard focus) for keyboard navigation
• Semantic HTML5 throughout — proper heading hierarchy (single H1 per page, logical H2/H3), landmark roles (header, nav, main, footer)
• WCAG AA colour contrast — body text and links meet 4.5:1 ratio against background; large headings meet 3:1 ratio
• ARIA labels for navigation, breadcrumbs, form fields, and contact information sections
• Keyboard accessibility — all interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, accordions) are keyboard-operable with visible focus indicators
• Image alt text — all content images include descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked aria-hidden
• Form labels — every form field has an associated <label> with required-field indicators
• Responsive design — content reflows for mobile, tablet, and desktop without horizontal scrolling
• Australian English — content language declared as en-AU for screen readers
• Reduced motion respected — animations subtle and non-essential

3. Known limitations

Despite our commitment, some content may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA conformance:

• PDF resources: Engineering reference PDFs (design guides) may not yet be fully tagged for screen-reader accessibility. We are working to remediate; in the interim, contact us at info@tonecooling.com.au if you need an alternative format.
• CFD heat-map images: Technical engineering diagrams (CFD output, ultrasonic C-scan images) include alt text describing the engineering content but cannot fully replace visual interpretation. Contact our engineering team for textual interpretation if required.
• Embedded video content: If we add video content in future, captions and transcripts will be provided.

4. Compatibility

This website is designed to be compatible with:

• Recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on desktop and mobile
• Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
• Keyboard-only navigation
• OS-level zoom and browser zoom up to 200% without loss of functionality
