Server Liquid Cooling Loop Assemblies

Bring cold plates, hoses and matched connectors into a controlled server assembly. For Australian and New Zealand integrators, the quotation starts with a chassis revision, device load map and a clear handover point to the rack circuit.

Custom component supply. Configuration and acceptance criteria are agreed against your drawing.

What belongs in a server cooling loop quotation?

List the plates, hoses, connector halves, distribution parts and instrumentation supplied inside the agreed assembly boundary. Identify the supply and return handover points. Rack manifolds, CDU equipment, coolant filling and commissioning need an explicit scope.

Choose the assembly boundary before comparing quotations

Plate and hose kit

Individual components supplied for installation by the server integrator. Identify who completes joining, routing, tightening and the final assembled leak test.

Factory-assembled loop

A defined set of plates, hoses and fittings assembled to a released drawing. Define shipping supports, protective caps and which tests cover the assembled scope.

Rack interface package

A separate, agreed interface to the rack manifold or CDU. Do not assume mating connectors, filling equipment or site labour are included with a server kit.

Make every BOM line traceable

BOM groupRequired definitionIntegration check
Cold platesDevice interface drawing, revision, quantity and mounting stack.Clearance to memory, power devices, retainers and neighbouring boards.
Hose assembliesFluid compatibility, length, internal diameter, bend limits and termination. No kinks or side loading when the chassis is closed or serviced.
ConnectionsManufacturer, full part number, male/female halves, seal material and flow direction.Mechanical fit alone does not prove compatible valving or sealing.
InstrumentationSensor type, range, location, connector and responsible controller.A sensor supplied without its controller is not a complete monitoring system.
Service partsCaps, replacement seals, labels and agreed spares. The operator can identify and replace the correct revision.

Budget pressure across the installed flow path

Interface schematic only; the actual circuit may contain series or parallel branches.

Components in a series path contribute to the total pressure loss at that path’s flow. Parallel branches share the pressure difference between their common junctions, but their flow rates need not be equal. Specify each target branch flow and any balancing provisions.

For staged GPU deployment or service isolation, check the operating cases the rack will actually see. A total-flow reading at the rack does not prove adequate flow through every processor plate. A lower-power branch can still receive excessive flow while a restrictive branch is starved.

Define the factory-to-site handover

  1. Release the configuration: freeze the assembly drawing, BOM, coolant compatibility list and test boundary.
  2. Verify the assembled scope: agree leak, pressure-drop and cleanliness checks, including how unused ports are sealed during testing.
  3. Protect for freight: define capped interfaces, residual-fluid condition, hose supports and identification for shipment to the AU/NZ integrator.
  4. Agree commissioning responsibility: identify who flushes, fills, vents, checks connector engagement and records initial temperatures and flows.

For a remote Australian or New Zealand installation, agree the spare-hose and connector strategy before dispatch. Local inventory, field response time and on-site commissioning are only included when confirmed in the quotation.

Request the drawing and acceptance package

The assembly package should connect a numbered BOM to the hose-routing drawing, connector schedule and factory test record. Ask for installation and service instructions for the supplied scope, with residual-fluid and storage conditions identified.

Configuration-specific documents

No verified model-specific performance PDF is available for this reference. The button requests a drawing and specification review; it is not a datasheet download.

Request drawings and specification

Construction reference: ToneCooling catalogue page. Reference images do not establish performance or qualification. The accepted drawing revision and agreed test conditions define the supplied component.

For equipment selection, review the CDU product range and model PDFs. For the facility/server boundary, use the data-centre liquid-cooling architecture page. Neither link changes the BOM included in a server-loop quotation.

Drawing-led enquiry

Request a server cooling-loop quotation

Identify a kit or a factory-assembled loop, plus any separately quoted rack equipment. State whether the enquiry includes sensors, mating connectors, mounting hardware, coolant or spares. Installation and server-platform qualification must be allocated explicitly.

Prepare my enquiry by email

Opens an editable email checklist; nothing is sent automatically. Attach your drawings before sending. NDA arrangements can be agreed before you share confidential files.

Include these project inputs

  • Server/chassis revision and device interface drawings
  • Device loss map and target branch flows
  • Numbered BOM, connector pair part numbers and hose routing
  • Coolant specification and rack supply/return conditions
  • Factory test scope, shipping condition and commissioning owner

ToneCooling Australia Pty Ltd coordinates Australian and New Zealand enquiries; manufacturing is in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. Include the destination postcode and required delivery date. Currency, freight, lead time and included inspection documents are confirmed in the quotation.

Engineering questions

Can a photographed kit establish server compatibility?

No. Even similarly named platforms can have different PCB revisions, mounting stacks and chassis clearances. Confirm the actual interface drawing and released BOM.

Are quick disconnects interchangeable if the thread matches?

Do not assume so. Match both coupling halves by the manufacturer’s approved part numbers and check seals, valves, flow restriction and operating conditions.

Does a factory leak test eliminate commissioning checks?

No. Transport, installation and connector mating occur afterwards. Define the on-site inspection, filling, venting and leak-check procedure for the installed assembly.
