What makes an A120C installation different from a facility-water CDU?

The A120C rejects heat to air, so the receiving room or plant needs an adequate heat-rejection path. Its listed 120 kW duty reference and 1200 × 1200 × 2000 mm enclosure require a coordinated thermal and space review.

Use the A120C to assess a contained liquid-to-air zone

The A120C is listed at 120 kW with 200 L/min and a 1200 × 1200 × 2000 mm enclosure. It may be assessed for a defined rack group only after the room heat-rejection path and available airflow are established.

Its catalogue supply uses three-phase options; the smaller A60C lists AC 220 V. Check the site electrical design and space allocation when comparing these tiers. Neither unit removes the need to reject the transferred heat from the building.

Heat passes from coolant to the receiving air stream. Confirm the room or plant heat-rejection path; this equipment does not eliminate the cooling load.

Heat rejection

Sum the rejected heat from all operating CDUs. Review room cooling capacity and the effect on adjacent racks.

Cabinet placement

Provide a scaled layout showing intake, discharge, doors, maintenance zones and hose routes.

Fault response

Define alarms, reduced-capacity operation and who owns the response when room cooling or liquid flow is lost.

Selection for the project location

Australia

For Australian brownfield data centres, evaluate the existing room cooling plant at the summer design condition. Do not assume liquid-to-air removes the facility heat load.

New Zealand

For NZ colocation and enterprise retrofits, coordinate the landlord or facility operator’s airflow rules and maintenance clearances before freezing a cabinet layout.

Electrical configuration is a release item. Catalogue voltage and frequency options do not establish compatibility with the site supply. Confirm voltage range, phase, frequency, earthing, protection and the applicable product documentation before order.

Questions before ordering

Which records should accompany the TC-CDU-A120C quotation?

Ask for the selected duty point, pump curve with pressure available to the load, general arrangement, offered electrical configuration, controls point list and acceptance-test scope. Identify document revisions in the quotation.

Are the catalogue power, flow and temperature values a guaranteed single operating point?

No. Request a configuration-specific selection using your coolant, air or facility-water conditions and required external pressure. The listed references are not a substitute for an accepted performance curve or test.

Is this equipment stocked or installed locally?

Stock, installation, commissioning and response times must be confirmed in the quotation. This page does not promise local inventory or an on-site service network.

Can I select from the catalogue rating alone?

No. Confirm the operating conditions, mechanical and electrical interfaces, fluid properties and acceptance test. Catalogue references must match the quoted configuration.

Can the same enquiry cover a New Zealand project?

Yes. Include the New Zealand delivery location, site conditions and required documentation so that supply and service responsibilities can be agreed.
