TC-CDU-RA20: 20 kW liquid-to-air CDU (10U)
The TC-CDU-RA20 is a 20 kW liquid-to-air CDU in a 10U rack chassis that lets liquid-cooled servers run in a room without facility water. The CDU pumps coolant through the server cold plates and its fans reject the heat into the room's existing air cooling. It suits pilot AI racks, labs and edge sites.

What is inside the TC-CDU-RA20 10U chassis?
- No facility water needed: heat goes into the room air
- Full stainless steel pipework
- Centrifugal pump with automatic flow matching and 1+1 cold-standby redundancy
- Active anti-condensation control
- 4.3-inch touch screen, leak detection and automatic liquid replenishment
- Constant ΔP or constant flow control modes
- Dual power supply; Modbus RTU and TCP/IP
Room air budget
All 20 kW ends up in the room air. Check that the room's air conditioning has the spare capacity, or move to a liquid-to-liquid CDU when facility water is available.
Where does the RA20 sit in the in-rack liquid-to-air CDU range?
ToneCooling supplies the TC-CDU-RA20 from China. ToneCooling Australia handles selection, AUD quotes, documentation and after-sales.
Liquid-to-air CDU questions
Can I liquid-cool servers without facility water?
Yes. A liquid-to-air CDU circulates coolant through the server cold plates and rejects the heat into the room air, so no facility water is needed. The room's air conditioning must have capacity for the full 20 kW.
When should I move to a liquid-to-liquid CDU?
When rack loads grow beyond what the room air can absorb, or when facility water becomes available. Liquid-to-liquid CDUs move the heat straight into the water loop.
How is electrical compliance handled in Australia?
The unit is 220 V / 50 Hz as standard and 230 V to order. The electrical safety compliance pathway for Australia and New Zealand is confirmed per project at quotation.
