TC-CDU-RM80: 80 kW in-rack coolant distribution unit (4U)

The TC-CDU-RM80 is an 80 kW in-rack coolant distribution unit (liquid-to-liquid CDU) in a standard 4U chassis. It fills the gap between the 50 kW and 100 kW in-rack models for racks running at 60–80 kW, and takes a 48 V DC supply from the rack power shelf.

FAQ

80 kW in-rack CDU questions

When does an 80 kW in-rack CDU make sense?

When a single rack runs at roughly 60–80 kW of liquid-cooled load and facility water is available at the rack. Below that, a 50 kW unit is usually enough. Above it, step up to a 100 kW in-rack unit or an in-row CDU.

What power supply does the TC-CDU-RM80 use?

48 V DC, typically taken from the rack power shelf. It has dual power supply inputs.

How is electrical compliance handled in Australia?

The electrical safety compliance pathway for Australia and New Zealand is confirmed per project at quotation.
